Please follow the application instructions carefully. To receive full consideration, your completed application must be received by the School of Graduate and Professional Studies in its entirety, including transcripts and support letters.

All Students must submit the following:

  1. Official transcripts for all courses taken.
  2. Please have the college(s) you attended submit sealed transcripts to the School of Graduate and Professional Studies. Do not open copies directly sent to you.
  3. Two sealed and confidential reference letters (one should be academic).
  4. Personal statement describing your interest in becoming a health care provider. Please be sure to include experiences you have had that have helped you make this decision (250-500 words).
  5. Current resume that details your employment history, community service, activities, scholastic distinctions, and/or honors you have earned.
  6. There is a one-time non-refundable application fee of $30.00. Please make checks payable to Elms College. Call 1-413-265-2490 to pay with a debit or credit card.
  7. In addition, International Students must submit the following:

    1. Official TOEFL test scores
    2. Current passport ID page and Visa page from your passport
    3. Records and Confidentiality

      Any and all information submitted with the Application for Admission becomes the property of Elms College in accordance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974. Your application materials will be kept confidential within the confines of Elms College. For further information regarding FERPA, please consult the undergraduate catalog.

      Financial Assistance

      No institutional funds are available for financial aid. A FAFSA will determine if you are eligible for a Stafford Loan. Elms College's school code is 002140.       International Students

      International students are encourage to apply to Elms College undergraduate programs. An applicant who is not a United States citizen or permanent resident, and who wishes to apply for an F-1 Student Visa must submit an F-1 Visa Request Form and supporting documents. Those students whose native language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and earn a mimimum scores of 79-80 on the TOEFL ibt.       Application for Admission Deadlines

      Elms College has a rolling admissions policy for the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program. Applications for admission are accepted throughout the academic year, and students may begin their studies in May, September, or January. Although rolling admission eliminates specific deadlines, applicants are enouraged to apply as soon as possible as seats are limited. Students are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

      Immunization Records

      The Elms College Health Center and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health require that the following information be on file for all Postbaccalaureate Premedicate Certificate students: Physical examination form completed by your health care provider (exam must be within 12 months of entrance), immunization records, and a single dose or miningitis vaccine within five years or a signed meningitis waiver.
